《深海巨妖2》承接上一部的精彩剧情，面人爷爷在对抗恶势力的过程中不幸遇难，临终前嘱咐蒋云飞不要再苟且度日迷失自己，势必要帮助大雁战胜幽冥王，结束这样毫无人性的黑暗统治，心系妹妹的王大雁不顾路途凶险执意要前往魔域，蒋云飞为保护大雁一改颓靡不振的状态，最终两人联手冒着生命危险与幽冥王及其手下展开了殊死较量。。本作の主人公は、人気バンド“Indigo AREA”のメンバーだったキム・ジュニ。母国・韓国で挫折し日本へやって来たジュニが、恋人でもあるボーカルの脱退宣言を受けるところから物語がスタートする。消えてしまいたいほどのショックを受けたジュニは、SNSや音楽さえも怖くなり、すべてを投げ出し海辺の町へ。そこでジュニは狭い価値観の世界を抜け出し、生きるうえでかかせない人とのつながりをつかんでいく。。The film opens with a narrated disclaimer over footage of an opening coffin.
