Meanwhile, EZ and Angel have grown distant from their father Felipe (Edward James Olmos) after a heart wrenching betrayal.。故事发生在南方某中小城市两个普通的家庭里…… 这一天，是华芸宝贝女儿巧巧的五岁生日，华芸在家忙着做菜，巧巧在给妈妈表演节目，母女俩在欢快的气氛中等待着家中男主人公冯楠，然而一等再等，冯楠始终不归，傍晚时分，门铃终于响了，然而进来的并不是冯楠，而是两名身穿制服的检察官…… 而此时的冯楠正神色慌张地行走在路上，他刚刚得知自己涉嫌经济诈骗之事败露，于是如惊弓之鸟背水一战地选择了携款出逃…… 从此，冯楠人间蒸发般地消失了……。
