喜剧演员出身，现年五十二岁的汉娜以自然鲜活的手法，演绎戏中耶路撒冷女的士司机。她原本要开车往约旦的“自由区”（Free Zone）为丈夫领回欠债，途中却遇到因失恋而旅居耶路撒冷的美国女子妮坦莉宝雯（Natalie Portman）。结果两个女人展开了一段公路旅程。。An inept gang of bank robbers, led by George The Brain, are caught and sentenced to 15 years hard labour each. When they are released from prison they start out to collect the money they had stolen and which George had hidden in a hollow tree during the chase in which they were caught.
